What We Assess in Our Evaluation

  • Cognitive Readiness: We observe the child's ability to focus on a task, follow simple multi-step instructions, and engage in a back-and-forth conversation. This helps us understand their executive functioning skills, which are crucial for learning.

  • Communicative & Social Readiness: We look for the child's comfort level in interacting with a new adult on screen. Can they answer questions and express their thoughts or needs verbally?

  • Technical Familiarity: While expertise is not expected, we gauge a child's basic ability to interact with the technology, such as using a mouse or responding to on-screen prompts.

  • Emotional Readiness & Motivation: We look for signs of curiosity and a willingness to engage. Is the child emotionally prepared for the structure of a one-on-one lesson?

It is a strategy to protect your child's confidence and ensure their first educational experience is positive.
