This article explains the policy for reducing the number of lessons you are scheduled for each week or month. In line with our Terms of Service, any reduction in your committed lesson hours will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

We do not provide prorated refunds for lessons you decide not to take within the current, active billing cycle that you have already paid for.

How Reducing Your Hours Works

When you request to reduce your lesson frequency, your new, lower number of hours will be reflected in the invoice for your next billing period. You are expected to complete all lessons scheduled for the remainder of the current cycle.

Example Scenario:

  • May 1st: Your billing cycle begins, and you are charged for a schedule of 3 lessons per week.

  • May 4th: You submit a request to reduce your schedule to 2 lessons per week.

  • May 1st - May 28th: You continue with your schedule of 3 lessons per week for the entire billing cycle.

  • May 29th (Next Billing Cycle): Your schedule and billing are adjusted to the new plan of 2 lessons per week.

Looking for More Flexibility? Consider Upgrading Your Plan.

Reducing your set number of weekly lessons is the right choice if you are making a long-term change to your schedule. However, if you are looking for flexibility to manage a temporarily busy week or a fluctuating schedule, the best solution is a plan with more generous cancellation and rescheduling options.

Our Pro and Elite plans are specifically designed for families who need greater flexibility.

  • The Elite plan offers unlimited reschedules and up to 3 lesson cancellations for credit per month.

  • The Pro plan offers 4 reschedules and 1 lesson cancellation for credit per month.

Upgrading to one of these plans is often a better solution than reducing your overall lesson hours, as it allows you to manage your schedule on the fly without losing your momentum.
